About the Prime Ministry
The Role of the Cabinet in Jordan
Executive authority is vested in the King, and he exercises it through his ministers according to the provisions of the Constitution. The Cabinet is composed of the Prime Minister as the head, and several ministers as required by the public interest. The Cabinet is responsible for managing all state affairs and is jointly accountable to the House of Representatives for the state's general policy. The Prime Ministry undertakes several key tasks, including enforcing laws, implementing policies, actively following up on the decisions of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet, and monitoring and tracking governmental performance.
Enhancing Cooperation and Coordination
We also aim to enhance communication, coordination, and cooperation with all state institutions, citizens, and the media. This effort involves following up and coordinating actions, overcoming obstacles to major and strategic projects. We also strive to promote collaboration and participation in knowledge and implementation, contributing to ensuring that the vision, mission, and goals of the Jordanian state are achieved with high efficiency. Through these integrated efforts, we aim to create a comprehensive work environment that supports sustainable development and enhances national prosperity.
